An extract from the aritcle:-
"One signatory, Alison Winter, who gives her location as Bramhall in Stockport, wrote: “Simple, Nicola Sturgeon spoke more truth to me than any other politician during the campaign,"
No Alision she didn't speak the truth, she said what the people wanted to hear, what the muppets who listened to her didn't take in to account is how the feck is she gonna pay for all her false promises, oh wait a miniute, you, you feckin stupid English twats are if she gets her way...
Muppet ...
PS, I note Dublin is above the new border on Dermos map, so do any of you Irish want to join in, oh wait a mo, a big chunk of Ireland above that line is already part of the UK,,, works well that don't it,,, Oh, and the English are paying through the nose for that as well...
Think all this just shows what a bunch of twats all us who live on these small islands are, rich in minerals and people but poor on strong politicians who can manage it well,,, rather than going forward as a country our politicians seem set on breaking it up, not just the Scots and Welsh, now Westminster wants to give devolution to Manchester, Leeds and the like,,, for feck sake they're only city's,,,, next every household will be an independent state with its own tax raising powers...
Sort it out, it's becoming a farce that only windbag politicians cash in on, and we're producing more and more of them every day...

Believe it or not, I've long thought a union between Ireland and the UK would work well but as a union of federal states something similar to Germany. But, the Royal family would have to go ( don't think too many on here would object to that) and of course, the parliament would have to sit in Dublin.

Ok compromise, we keep the Royal Family cos I thought was funny, and you can have your parlement anywhere, anywhere that is where a pint costs less than three quid, so Dublins fuc#ed on that one...

That leaves the rest of the island open! 3.90 for a pint of Guinness in my local. Wetherspoons in Dublin was selling Heineken for 2.95 (euro) a pint but Heineken stopped supplying that pub because all the other pubs in Dublin objected. Wetherspoons then threatened to pull Heineken from all its pubs across the 2 islands. I think they came to a compromise in the end of 3.75 or something like that. Still 2 euro cheaper a pint that the rest of Dublin. Feckin disgrace that. Some pubs in Temple Bar put the prices up every 3 hours from 5pm onwards. By 11pm, you could be paying 7.20 a pint! Beats me why the tourist continue to go there

. No argument on that!. There is one pub that has great music but that is right at the far end of the area ( I wouldn't even call it Temple Bar )AND they don't jack the prices up like the rest of them.

It's a good few years since I was over in Dublin, we were in a hotel overlooking the Liffey, just around the corner from O'Connell Street, Sunday morning she wants to go see the book of Kells, why! don't fecking ask me, I'm still a bit fragile from the Saturday night, anyway off we set, following the tourist signs we heading over the Liffey and up in to the Tempel Bar area, then the signs dry up, were lost wandering around back streets and my ears are hurting cos it's obviously my fault were feckin lost,,, we pass a pub, it has frosted windows up to about six feet then plain glass, I see a guitar being handed from one person to another, as we pass the door I slip in and just let her keep walking and spouting off, she clicks and returns to the bar, I had a round in by that time, so calmed down she decides to have one, one,,,, we were there till gone seven, what a day, there was one guy on guitar and singing holding it together, then people would just drop in and join in for a Few songs then move on, think at one point there were three or four guys on guitars, two on fiddles and one on mandolin, brilliant day. The pub must have been near the university me thinks, there were two themes going on in the pub, lots of glass display cases full of old medical instruments, the other was all the wall were covered with iconic photographs, there's one I remember well, Sophie Loren looking at Jane Mansfields tits and thinking WTF...
