You may recall I touched on this one a year or so back when Annie's brother died, he was booked to go on holiday with a group of friends, he died about a month pre the holiday date, it was his wish that his wife still go on holiday with their friends, she asked Annie to accompany her (I also booked last minute flights/accommodation and went as well), Annie phoned the holiday company her brother had booked with and explained situation, £125 I think it was to change Desmond to Ann, change a tick in a box from male to female, change date of birth, and passport number if they had already printed boarding boarding passes which I don't think they had at the time, Annie asked under the circumstances could anything be done to reduce the cost, answer, surely your brother was insured, they will compensate for his and his wife's costs if she wishes to cancel...
Annie's forthcoming trip to Tenerife, one of the girls has had to pull out, it's one of Annie's daughters step sisters, she's one of triplets, three girls, one of her sisters has said she will go in her place, so all that needs to be changed on the paperwork is the christian name,,, same surname, same sex, same date of birth as already entered on booking form, note, boarding passes had not been printed at this stage so no passport details to change,,, the cost of changing one christian name, two hundred and ten pounds,,, how do they justify that...
