Everything is cleaner

This is an article about Orotava doing a bit of sprucing up, Tenerife News, though it has to be said, the whole island looked better and "fresher" than when we were over last year. Golf del Sur looked much cleaner. We didn't see a scrap of litter while we were there. Also, we didn't see one stray cat anywhere. Looks like the local councils are getting their acts together. Even the walls along the tunnel in Los Cris had spray artists doing some brilliant stuff. Also, up in Adeje,  local artists was doing a mural on some walls in the centre of the village

I have to say though, we were well impressed with every place/town we visited.

Adeje very clean, I eat off the pavements

We get rubbish collected 6 days a week and streets get washed every night.

what in england - unless your with kent CC where they pickup you rubbish and drop a calais resident off to live in your shed ...

I used to work in an hotel called La Oratava, premier inn now, Craigmillar park Edinburgh

we are not in Adeje, we come under Arona but it is the same as TD, every night the rubbish is emptied and the streets cleaned.

Same here Cam ,then they fill them with paraffin 

Got a take away delivered, guy must have been running his car on paraffin,,, what a stink...

The car or the food ???

Both, food was for Annie's kids I just took delivery, they get the same shit from a crappy chinky, half it goes in the bucket, but they keep ordering it..........
