Re: Old Leeds
42 seconds and 2m 48 in the Leeds inner ring road tunnel, the concrete walls have been in constant repair, so they built the Clarendon wing of the Leeds General infirmary, It called that because most of Clarendon road vanished, I lived off it in the Claremonts, first the view with the parents then my own in the Grove, 57 seconds in is Little Woodhouse street, its nowhere near Woodhouse the park opposite my first house was called Woodhouse square, its a little park, thats feck all near Woodhouse too
In front of our house was St Annes school, Jimmy Saville went to it,
The town hall in the film was 2 minutes walk from our house, Its a conservation area, its now a dump, all the nice big victorian houses and buildings are full of renters and the landlords dont give a monkeys for the area, Its a shame, I drive past now and then to look at our house that we started off in, it hasnt been painted since we left in 83
