Connel bridge...
Recall as a very young kid walking over it, it still had the railway lines in it then, had relatives that stayed in Dunbeg and was up there on holiday, then a few years back crossed it again, in a car this time, tide was going out and the flow from the loch under the bridge was wild, now there's a place to put turbines I thought...

It used to be for trains only, then they allowed a single lane of traffic as well on a priority system, then when the Beeching cuts hit they made it a vehicle bridge but it still is only wide enough for single file traffic and is controlled by traffic lights at either end.
