    I had the pleasure of sharing a few pints with this guy last summer. His real name is Hynes (calls himself Haynes cos whoever heard of a soul singer called Hynes??  Ronnie J Haynes 3025408739 ) and his parents come from Co. Mayo, though he was born and bred in Liverpool. He was telling me a few stories about growing up Irish and is very thankful for the life he leads now. Ron ( nearly sure his name is Ronan , could be wrong as I was pi**ed) has a gravely soulful voice, engages with the audience and is very witty. He plays Grandee O Donnell's, Golf del Sur, twice a week and is well worth a visit.This is a piece I came across this evening
