Go to Guia de Isora, then follow the signs up towards Santiago del Teide, you have to go through it, some is one-way because it is so narrow, then once out the other side there is a Mirador where they do Ok food and you can pick the almonds and dates off the trees.

Only really been to Masca and Candelaria. We were considering hiring a car this time and heading inland a bit to see some of the villages.

No that's Taucho, up in the hills.
