Don't get that passport card??? Why would you go to the extra expanse of getting a passport card when the original passport book is still compulsory??? What am I missing??
Whats the point in having both? ID cards aren't compulsory here. No point in buying one if I'm only going to use it for 2 weeks of the year. And, Ryanair haven't said they would take them as ID yet.
What do you mean in general? We are the first country to introduce them. Just a money spinning exercise for the government that the usual pseudo intellectual middle class snobbish wankers will buy, so they can wave them about going through passport control and feel superior. I wouldn't mind if they combined it with a driver's licence but no feckin' no, our lot have to produce TWO feckin' seperate cards for that.
