Tenerife Weather August 2011

This is what the forecast for the week is


Weather in South Tenerife – Simply sunny and hot for most of the week with some light cloud breaking up the blue skies from Thursday. Sunday will be the cloudiest day and there will be a slight chance of rain on Saturday. Temperatures will stay around 29/30C all week.

Weather in North Tenerife – Should be more or less a rerun of last week. Sunny most of the week with some light cloud from Tuesday afternoon. The weekend could see a bit more cloud rolling into the north coast and the chance of showers on Friday and Saturday. Temperatures should be around 26C all week.

And today in my part of the world it is actually sunny, no cloud and 26°C

It is 27.5C here and just a few clouds and a breathe of breeze

Very hot here today, just come around the Los Cris roundabout and it is still showing 25+C at 9.00pm

You're right V! I think them things are 2, maybe 3 degrees too high.

But that's deliberate of course as the tourists tell their pals back home how hot it was on holiday. Good marketing strategy!

You are just kidding yourselves. I have just walked onto the patio, picked the thermometer up and checked it is still 23C, it is now almost 10.30 at night and I am Alto not on the coast jealousy will get you nowhere

Im further west and higher up and it is a lovely morning, 23C hope it stays and doesnt get as hot as yesterday.

Another nice morning, 25C so ideal for sitting outside with a beer or coffee and enjoying the rays rather than scorching.

Sunny Sunday here in Tenerife. It is 27 degrees.

While it has been baking here in the south today, La Avenida Maritime, in San Andres (up past Santa Cruz) had to be closed due to the strong waves lashing the coast of Tenerife.

South Tenerife – Hot weather, mostly sun, a few clouds and temperatures 29/30C all week.

North Tenerife – more cloud than sun with the possibility of some light rain. Temperatures around 26C all week.

South West Tenerife – Almost the same as the south.

Been about 26 or 27C most of the day up here, but it could be very different just a few miles down the road.
