A few years back we went to La Caleta for the Festival of San Sebastian it was about the 20th January, I wondered if anyone knows when it will be held next year as we would like to go again.

Thast the one where they bring their pets to be blessed and then for a swim??? As far as I know, its always Jan 20th. Gypsy might be along later. She is the oracle on all the festivals on the island.

Remember being somewhere in mainland Spain, can't recall exactly where, they built bonfires every hundred yard or so along the beach, it was one of them beaches that went on for ever so there were loads of them, then from early evening until silly o'clock people partied around them, can remember vividly the burning smell and smog, don't know what it was all about,,, and No, it wasn't Guy Fawkes night before some smart fecker suggests it...
Think it was possibly down Murcia area somewhere...
