How the government spends my Tax.
First time I've seen this. It was on my annual tax return...I'm paying £119/year on overseas aid!

Yip, it's a bit like the council tax, Manchester City Council were pretty good at spending it on a load of no good shite, for example, there's a big gay festivel/parade in Manchester every year, the council were ploughing thousands it to it, Why !!! If them shirt lifters and muff munchers want a party why should I pay for it...
Since the clamp down on council tax budgets Im sure I read the council had ceased funding it, but why should they have been doing it in the first place,,, tax should for esentual services not Micky Mouse feckin projects...
Also a bit of a thing going on in Scotland at the moment with "T In The Park" with the Scottish government subsidising a profit making event, again Why !!!

It's scary when you think that's just me alone paying £2,300+/ year.

Re: How the government spends my Tax.
Patsys office in Peterborough is to close by 2021 so there will be no fecker left to collect the money anyway. The whole of eastern England is to get ONE office in Nottingham FFS yet Scotland gets one in Edinburgh AND Glasgow. Apparently rents are cheap in Nottingham. Thats right, this thick stupid Government RENTS offices. You couldnt make it up could you? Well done Reg, Leeds gets an office. Cheap.

Re: How the government spends my Tax.
Oh dear, I bought one in 2002. Stupidly thought it would rise in value 10% year on year. How wrong I was. probably cost me 10 % year on year.
