At least eighteen people are believed to be victims of an outbreak of Salmonella poisoning in Tenerife.
Four of the victims have been hospitalised as a result, while an investigation by experts from the Canary Islands’ Ministry of Health revealed that the common denominator is that all 18 victims had eaten at the same café in La Laguna. Despite this, samples taken from the café have yet to confirm that it is the source of the outbreak and investigations continue.
