SKY HD leaves TENERIFE

SKY have started the final stage , after the xmas blockade of changing their settings on HD channels from 3/4 to 8/9

THIS WILL IN EFFECT UNLESS YOU HAVE A VERY LARGE DISH remove the following channels from SATELLITE DISH VIEWING in tenerife

i was not wanting to confuse the issue but because all the old satellites which were pick n mix have been replaced by new and more powerful ones that are clones they can REDUCE the FEC which is the safety valve which allow the signal to work in all weathers and to correct errors . it was 3/4 and has been moved past 5/6 and 7/8 to 8/9 which is amazing if you know about this sort of thing
The entire point is that in the same space which has a fixed cost they had 8 channels they can now get extra channel for nothing. it is an act that cannot be overcome at any cost .it also allows the small english sky dish to be used all over mainland UK and ireland

But will the Dubliner still serve Guinness????

I think all places will sell legal drugs until about 2035 when it will get banned ..and after that they can use it to strip paint and kill off infections ,and school kids can look back and go ´ did people really set fire to bits of a bush and inhale the smoke and other drink liquids that rot their bodies and cause death on such  a large scale ....

who have about 5 years in the sun before looking like tourists from belsen .

SKY changed their SKY MOVIES to the new setttings today ,so all of SKY HD CHANNELS 
now require a larger dish size (1.2m) TO KEEP THE PICTURE DURING RAIN OR HEAVY CLOUD

My sky dish has a brolly over it...

To be honest I've never really had a problem. I've got one of those 4K TVs, when are they going to start broadcasting in 4K?

you will need to buy a SKY Q box and then pay xtra per month for UHD from SKY . the BBC is cutting back inc closing bbc3 broadcast next month

the big change for us will be the new MAG257/350 which will allow HD on only 3mb using HEVC/H.265 (which also supports 4k/UHD)
once this comes in then its the end of SATELLITE DISH/AERIAL ON HILL TOPS ,as all content can come thru existing phone cable 

just to note that H265/HEVC dont support DVD so from later in the year they will stop supplying new content on physical formats .
