We very nearly booked a place there for this year. Owned by a russian lady. Ailsa McGibney ( ??) is the person in charge. She said to call in to look around the complex when we are over. Might just do that. The apt was stunning. Only thing was it didn't have aircon.Topdog wrote:Island Village then

I don´t have air con and neither does TD.... not necessary except on 3 or 4 days a year.

We seldom use air con, as long as you can get a flow of air going through it is usually fine

I know ye have said that before but we can't do without it. I find the apartments, particularly if they get evening sun, to be unbearably hot. That said, none of the places we have been in have had mosquito netting on the windows, so we don't know how cool that would make it. Tried it once in GDS with a repellent plugged in all night and I got bitten about 20 times
