As said on another thread yesterday in the afternoon we done the Gaelic Corner then the Claddagh, Derek and the guy (can't remember his name) who played with him in the Times were doing a session, had the place rocking doing really good stuff, we headed back to the apartment 5/6ish to get changed then eat in Surfers cos they had the football on (don't mention the feckin football), then on Up to the Claddagh, Derek and the guy were still on and doing it good, then the guy dissapears, must have been about midnight and Gerry joins Derek, so me thinks good they will really whack it up with some traditional Irish stuff, wrong,,, they start doing long drawn out versions of stuff like Mustang Sally, now hearing once normal length would have been ok, but dragging out for about fifteen minutes or so, then repeating it another twice, mmmm, then a guy gets up and done four or five Frank Sinatra numbers, give the guy his due he was good, but on Paddys day ??? place just died,,, we thought about heading to the Dub but seeing the crowd around that area earlier in the day we knew it would have been hammered, so we sat it out, so a bit of a dissapointing end to the day...
