Re: Leeds/Bradford to Tenerife
Mmm I have never used Ryanair i hear its a bit 2 *. I like Monarch 1st and Jet 2 second,
Flight times are more important to me, Up early and back late suits me, but i will have Janet look into it. we are booked for April the 8th and Christmas already, Janets blagged 5 weeks off for Christmas

We have feck all choice. Either Air Lingus ( which is now BA anyway ) or Ryanair. I can't say anything wrong about Ryanair. They do what is says on the tin and have become more friendly and flexible over the last couple of years.

I just posted that on F/b but not here as it is going to Gran Canaria, which IMO is rubbish but at just 31 squid it can´t be ignored.
Monarch - I read they are wanting to sell HERE

Re: Leeds/Bradford to Tenerife
Well, you would miss all that up in first class wouldnt you Reg. On a serious note though I would love to run an airline. There would be one or two changes.......... Only Dutch pilots, they sound so laid back! All punters who wish could have a go at landing....... My hand is up Sir! Get rid of half the trolley dollies, the gay half especially. No need for that many at all. On the return leg in particular they spend at least 2 hours sitting behind that curtain rabbitting. Personally I cant wait for a real emergency situation and you just know the camp ones are gonna start wimpering, until I slap their silly faces anyway. Then they will have something to scream about. Bring back proper meals on medium haul flights, included in the price of course. Except the breakfast ones, YUK.
Everybody has got used to taking just hand baggage now so really that bottom part of the plane has become largely redundant. Put seats in there for old gits who wish to sleep and turn the top half into a disco, 70s of course with a proper bar selling PINTS at sensible prices and duty free cocktails for the birds. Oh, nearly forgot. Smoking at the rear!!! And turn the air exchange up to where it used to be when smoking was allowed. To many bugs flying about the fuselage at the moment with nowhere to go.

Oh, by the way. Should have put this in the Gran Canaria thread but they have a smoking terrace at the airport there. Very nice it is too. If you dont smoke its still a nice place to catch some last minute sunrays. Bar too!
