Hobby of mine that is,,, got Annie in to it this holiday as well, got to be prepaired, suntan lotion, baseball cap, some nibblies and a few chilled tins of the amber nectar,,, selecting the correct spot to park your arse is also important, we got it right each time, just opposite where the water sports boat comes in,,, now the object of the sport is to predict what turning method these beach walking eejits use when they come to the end of the beach, categories are:-
Toucher - Got to touch one of the breakwater rocks with their foot before heading back in the opposite direction...
Looper - Turns by doing a big loop so as not to lose pace...
Pruner - Normally female, stops and adjusts swimsuit before heading back, most times spent removing the bikini bottom from the butt cheeks, then once perfectly positioned off they set, compleat wast of time cos after a few steps it's right up the crack again,,, but that said it is entertaining to watch...
Posser - Gets to rocks then starts to use them like a piece of gym equipment to do all sorts of stretching excersises on...
Pride - Gets to the rocks and takes a few seconds to look back with pride at the distance they've just covered befor heading back...
Repeater - The ones who've got piles and can't sit on their arse cos yove seen them half a dozen times already...
Paddler - Has a little paddle in the sea before heading back...
Drill Sergeant - Comes to a dead stop, does a military style turn then sets off in the opposite direction...
Almost - Turns about five or so feet from the rocks...
Lazy Fecker - Turns about twenty five yards from the end of the beach, now these tend to be fat lardy types who could actually do with putting in the extra yard or two...
And the aim of the game,,, to predict the correct turning method, and the reward for doing so,,, an extra large slug of the amber nectar...
Remember, me and Annie ain't the type that just sit around doing feck all when on holiday...

Come to the conclusion that Tenerife as a year round destination has had its day ,been twice this year and both times it has been Baltic, we have booked for our annual pilgrimage in January but if the weather is bad this time it will be our last Winter break there, Val says " go west old git" [Florida]
