Re: Humour.
Just my luck, and always on the run up to Xmas, I'm at A&E. Today hasn't been a good day. I decided to go horse riding......something I haven't done in years. It turned out to be a big mistake! I got on the horse and started out slowly, but then we went a little faster; before I knew it, we were going as fast as the horse could go. I couldn't take the pace and fell off, but caught my foot in the stirrup with the horse dragging me. It wouldn't stop. Thank goodness the manager at Tesco came out and unplugged the stupid machine. Then he had the bloody nerve to take the rest of my change so I wouldn't attempt to ride the Elephant. How many of you actually read what I wrote?

Re: Humour.
Ebay is for shopping. Postman delivers it. Young Freddie has a nice socket set coming his way which is in a nice big tool box and a bunch of spanners. I have to confess though this pressie is mainly so he doesnt use mine and leave them laying about in the yard. Think he will be off soon though, he wants to travel Europe in his little campervan. I told him to wait til springtime but hes a bit like me, takes no notice. Done much the same, we stumbled across Andorra, big eye opener, we stuffed the van with baccy. Inside all the panels. Hmmm, old habits die hard.......... Talking of campervans the T3 VW I picked up from Glasgow a week or so ago did start up when I tried it but was blowing out clouds of white smoke and would not accelerate so I am guessing the timings out, maybe jumped a tooth on the cambelt. New cambelt has arrived but virtually every bolt I try to undo is seized with rust so its pretty time consuming. This is the one with the engine in the back. I have managed to remove the undertray and the exhaust is almost off. This is so I can reach the crankshaft pulley! Hmmm, might have been easier to just lift the engine out but I now suspect its a good unit, originally assumed it was fecked and have a slightly more powerful low mileage one amongst my stock but original is best in these babys! Pleasantly surprised to see the rust issues only appear to be skin deep. Needs new wheelarches on the right hand side and the panel under the windscreen is fecked but it is 31 years old. Bet it lives longer than me.
