i am seeking some peace and quiet in here until the rulers are put away :hit:

just switched over to embarrassing bodies and there is a guy/woman now who has had gender reassignment surgery - i had no idea of the steps involved.
not pretty and it definitely doesn't seem like a decision you would make without thinking it through very well first.

it's one of those programs that make me cringe but it's like car crash tv, i can't look away

We have a young Temp at work. His Team Leader a big Black Guy who is really nice and quite shy, ask him what his plans for the future are as he is leaving in 2 weeks. He said to be a woman. Should have seen his team leaders face.

I had my bone density scan and I am in the area that is neither bad or good. So in the middle. Its called Osterpina.
wiki says Osteopenia is a condition where bone mineral density is lower than
normal. It is considered by many doctors to be a precursor to
osteoporosis. However, not every person diagnosed with osteopenia will
develop osteoporosis. More specifically, osteopenia is defined as a bone
mineral density T score between -1.0 and -2.5.[1]

So I have to keep a check on my calcium levels and vitamin d levels. Plus weight bearing exercise ie walking.Will do plenty of that pushing the pram.
