    This video looks like it could have been shot in australia, but its in Co. cork, which gets more than its fair share of rain. something strangely mesmerising about it.

    Recall as a kid on my uncles farm we set fire to the heather on the hills for some reason, we went around with rubber flappy things like rakes keeping control of where the fire burnt, think it was meant to do the land good or something...

    It was to kill off the old heather so new shoots would sprout Minty. The grouse feed on the tender shoots.

    You are on a very High area above sea level that leads to the cliffs and a fire starts from the East with the wind very strong east to west and the area is 8 miles across, how would you Escape. So the area is 8 miles across the Fire is up to 1 mile across now and you cant possibly get to lower ground. The choice of jumping off the cliff is almost certain death.

    Ah, he did have grouse shoots on the land,,, recall eating them, you had to be carefull not to break your teeth on the amount of lead shot in them...
