Well we eventually booked up last night for Tenerife BUT after buying and cancelling flights within half an hour, thats another story but we didnt lose out we got a full refund phew stressful time lol.

Their wasnt alot to choose from for the area we wanted PDLA but one hotel I always said I would like to try was the Arona Grand in Los Christianos after staying at the Paloma Beach apartments across the road even though I prefer apartments these days the prices were ridiculous so made sense to take up half board.

Looking around on google maps we have also found this resort has grown and their is lots of more restaurants and bars at the back of the resort to explore.

So thats it, most money I have ever spent on a holiday but looking forward to it now its all booked up.

Stayed there 5 times in the past, some of the rooms dont have much of a view, we always asked for a sea view not a side sea view as they call it, but a nice place to stay, Booked up waheeeeeeeee 294053457

Been in the place twice, was when I lived our there, went in for a drink one night, and no I wasn't in shorts and a T-shirt I dressed appropriately, all a bit stiff upper lip it was, guy playing elevator music on a piano, waiter/waitress service  only, surrounded by people who would know a good time even if they were having one,,, one drink then out...

Then I hear from someone the pool bar does great lunches so decid to have a pool day there, just brass in, walk in, down to the pool area, towels on to a couple of sun beds and catch some ray's  pre lunch, yip lunch was good, then back to sun bed, and yeah no kids, ahhhhhh...

Got say Im not posh in anyway lol. Te wife and daughter seem to like places like this, cocktails etc. I told them I will be across the road in the Penny Farthing having a few pints hehehe.

Ive looked on google maps and up a hill their seems to be a little bit of a bar area with live entertainment etc, I was told about this before but I never came across it. Got a better idea of where it is now has anyone ever tried this area.

Manhattons, Golden City, Springers International etc that area

My nephew stayed there last year, it has just been refurbed, there is a new bar just been opened right outside the hotel more or less on the sunday market. on the seafront i think it is called the marina bar or something? lovely views looking out to sea, we saw a couple have the cheesy nacho's to share, they were still going at it half hour later it was that big Booked up waheeeeeeeee 3025408739 . if you like indian food, bobby's have just opened bobby's 5 next door to the surrey arm, and if the food is consistent with the others it should be great. the penny farthing has changed hands and been renamed. the queen vic just further down is a good little pub, next door to the big ben and desperate dan's. if you venture up tp the el mirador strip, then taylors is a must if you like to watch sports and have a beer, Manhatten's has gone down the pan a bit, the old bar 39 is now the highland paddy and is a good entertainment bar. just above manhatten's is la peppa food hall, a cocktail bar and extensive beer bar, with lots of different food stalls that you can order food from. you can order steak from one chicken from another etc, just let them know and they will try and cook it at the same time so that it all comes out together Booked up waheeeeeeeee 294053457
