Looked at them earlier today,,, when I first moved to Manchester basically first thing I do is suss out quickest/less congested route from house to work, so I've done the route for a good few years then one day I've got a meeting with a company not far from my house, I'm taking a work colleague with me, we jump in my car, I know where I'm going and use the backstreet route I use to go back and forth to work,,, I say to work colleague this must be one of the worst roads in Manchester for accidents, there's bunches of flowers tied to fencing and lampposts everywhere,,, he bursts out laughing,,, I say what's funny, he says it's not road accidents, it's drugs and gang related shootings,,, he goes to explain that my shortcut (that he had thought was a bit odd) went straight through Hume and Moss Side two of the roughest areas in Manchester, oops...
