Little story about my mother, Janet would be 18 and mother had bought herself a rowing machine, so there she is rowing backwards and forwards with Janet looking on impressed,
so then she decides to stand up and pull on these spring weights up and down until her foot slipped off the frame and went up between her legs, it smashes into to her front botty and mother flew across the room with this machine following tangled up in her knickers
Janet screamed thinking she was dead or worse, it all went quite, mother was laughing that much she couldnt breath, she didnt walk straight for weeks, It must have hurt but she wouldnt say

Sorry Dermot, life sucks at times but there will be times when you look back it all seems somehow to make sense, as you age you'll realise what I mean , don't ever be afraid to shed tears for your mother D she probably shed buckets for you, chin up pal ,the sun will shine again.

Not good, something in the fore front of my mind at the moment, went docs for my six month check up December to get my blood pressure tablets that I've taken for some 15 years, blood pressures all over the place, they have cardiograph at docs, heart rates bouncing between 80 and 190, I know we knock NHS but I had a scan within days which confirmed issue, then again within days consultation with expert and three more cardiograph tests which lead to two nuclear medicine scans where they inject a radioactive fluid in to you and track it as it goes through your heart first in a rest state then in a stress state you have them a week apart, waiting on results,,, I didn't even know I was ill, just went to docs for more blood pressure pills...
