Same, I didn't use the cruise-control on my car, just didn't feel as If iI was in control when I tried it.
What I did use was the maximum speed control car had, you could set it to any speed, 30, 50, 70mph etc and you just drove car normally but it would not exceed the set limit, so you didn't have to keep an eye on the speedo or worry about drifting over the limit and getting flashed by a speed camera...
