Re: What are you doing today??
Car got scraped in Dobbies garden centre a while back and has been in getted sorted, got a call yesterday to say it was sorted and would be here between 10am and 11am fine , looked out the window and saw a guy coming out of a blue car and walking towards the house, door bell rings! " brought your car back " he says "oh no you haven't " says I he rattles of my cars registration number! "that is correct " says I ,"but my car is silver and the reg on the car you brought doesn't match either" after a call to his office he says that he will have to take the wrong car back and collect mine "see you in half an hour" he said " make that an hour and a half" I said WHY says he "because if my car is as manky as the one you brought I won't accept it " " ok" 90 mins later the worlds cleanest car arrived in my parking space, customer service is extinct in the U.K, unless you D.I.Y.

Re: What are you doing today??
Patsys silly Beetle failed MOT last week. Long list including welding and windscreen FFS. That was £90 but she can see through it now. Just finished the welding today, rear inner sills both sides. Broken spring....... All the bolts shear when you try and undo them. Silly car, made in Mexico apparently. Just headlight aim and front suspension bushes for tomorrow. Its GOING. She will be getting a German car made in Germany next! Much, much older so I can understand it and the bolts undo..

Been over to York today, meeting Savills again next Thursday after lunch, they are hawking some new apartments ready in 18month to 2 years, hope they get busy before we bail out
last week we saw them putting up the fence with the picture of what they were building - Bang straight in to pick the best location, I may put down £2 deposit if they ask DFA

Re: What are you doing today??
First thing Solicitors Turns out Lexie's mother moved house 4 weeks ago and thinks we dont need to know, Poor Lexie has been hiding it from us because her mother told her to tell nobody
so i have been picking her up from school and dropping her off at her aunties, Lexie says her mother has been working which is complete blox, also Lex opened up that she is being forced to go to a new school where none of her friends are going, so she is carrying that about and we all know how painful that is, today i could spend 1 hour and find where the house is but i have been in enough trouble this year taking the law into my own hands, so the brief is find where they live and write and tell her we know, also is there anyway we can deal with the loon and wrestle Lex away from her, I doubt it because the law is for potless low life's that find great pleasure form ruining the lives of others inc there own children, boiling mad from Leeds

Re: What are you doing today??
Court hearing to establish that Luke and ourselves have a right to know where Lex is first, then Cafcass will see Lex over a period of time so they can extract from her where she wants to live and what school she wants to go to, (female innit so may be totally different to what she says)
all this will be carried out quickly so she can start school with everybody else,
I said there is one word you have said which i like the most (Urgent), get busy,
So thats it for no, One thing bothers me - we are heading Tenerife in 16 days, if psycho gets wind of it she will stop the holiday

Re: What are you doing today??
My work's van broke down today going to work about 15 miles into journey. Cruising along about 55mph and engine just conks out. Battery light, engine management light and steering wheel thingy lights come on. Lose power steering so muscle it into laybye. Phone AA at 07:00 who turn up 1 hour later and the guy plugs all sorts into the Engine management plug hole and tests battery then brings up electrical diagrams on his tablet. Checks all the fuses against it, but everything is OK. Diagnosed a faulty ECU and towed me into the BT garage in Stirling, which fortunately for me is where my office is! Then I had to get online to book a hire vehicle from the garage. I had that all done by 09:20am. However, when you book it, the process then has to go through about 3 different authorisation stages, I got the spare hire van at 14:40 this afternoon. By the time I'd transferred all my safety gear, tools etc. into the spare van it was feckin' home time!

Be up to Lex what happens when cafcass pal her up, she may tell us one thing and her mother another, but if she has any sense now is the time to use it,Campbell Brodie wrote:That's really tough Reg, Janet and you must be raging. Hope you get everything sorted out in Lexie's best interests.

Re: What are you doing today??
Corsa 1.3 3 door hatchback. All the ignition lights come on but nada when you turn the key... Guy in the garage thinks the key may not be talking to the computer stuff because when he tried to open/lock doors with it, 4 way flashers came on but door didn't lock. Then the thing started once when he tried it, but only the once...Mcqueen wrote: What van is it ? guess = timing belt snapped, but i may be wrong
