Bon fire last night,

eveningall. Back from 9 days on the rock. Decided I've had enough of Los cris. To go anywhere decent, you need to go to the seafront or around the church. We were in Los Diamantes iii, which makes an old folks home look like a meth head rave. Went to Paddy O'Kelly's a couple of times. There is a guy there called Billy McCracken, who I  have now decided is the best musician in Tenerife. Plays everything from Pink f floyd to Eric Bogle,. Only trouble is, he seems to be pissed most of the time and probably wasn't the best place for a 10 year old. We left there one night and went up to the Chieftain. That guy was worse, defo adult only place. We went to Margarita's one night when Kev was working. Must say, he served up some steaks that were gorgeous. Was in the claddagh another night. Said hello to Gerry. Not the easiest guy to have a conversation with but remembered Cam and Trish very well. Went to the winchester twice. Stu is a chef par excellence. Had the best ribs ( twice) I've ever tasted. He also does a homemade bbq sauce that is the best thing since sliced bread. Fecker wouldn't give me the recipe . the airport on Saturday afternoon was awful. Queues out the door literally. People jumping queues especially the russians. Check in staff having rows with every second person. There was a wheelchair bound elderly lady behind us in the queue for 1hr 55 min. Place was so thick with people and bags, she couldn't make her way up to the front. We just about made it onto the plane. Last call had been announced. Turns out the baggage belt from checkin to the baggage handling area was broken and girls behind desks were manually lifting bags over to a central area in walkway behind desks. No announcements from airport admin. Bloody disgraceful it was.
