Mich, Jim is not bitter towards Estate agents, he is bitter to everyone accept us lovely lot.
Truefully I think it is an age old feud that is a Love/hate relationship and we all need to just have a laugh with it no matter which side of the fence you are on.
Don't let it get too personal on here though and take it all as pinch of salt.

I think they could only find him scuzzy bars, with the wrong clientèle, in ghetto areas so he had to do all the legwork himself to get sorted. The Estate Agents Thread - Page 2 2419626307 TIC

For a newish member, you claim to know an awful lot about me Mich - I wonder why that is ? :what:

Firstly, I am not bitter towards Estate Agents, it's just that in my experience I have found them to be:-

    1) Unethical business people.
    2) Liars.
    3) Greedy.
    4) Cheats.
    5) Willing to stab anyone in the back to make a Buck.

To me, that is extremely bad business practice and they should at least have to work within some sort of code/control to earn my respect.

We're all entitled to our own opinion on here Mich. Some here don't like Asians, some don't like Pikeys, some don't like LookyLooky men etc.

Me - I just don't like Estate Agents.

    ---

Now, tell us a bit about yourself please - why DO YOU like Estate Agents so much ?

Are you one, I wonder ? The Estate Agents Thread - Page 2 3025408739

Take that as a dislike then Jim 🤣 🤣
Jim like Marmite, what spreads easy.
I think Jim is right and I am sure he would be the first guy to be friends with an Estate agent if he had the right attitude to what Jim expects, don't we all think like that in some way or another.
Jim mentions Pikeys, me I class pikies as the new horrid type of Gypsy that is out to rob and upset whoever when ever, can't stand them. Gypsy's great people, I even have an uncle who married in to a real Gypsy family, very upstanding citizens.
Trouble is with word Pikie the meaning has moved on to the scumbag type.
Asians or any foreign people, I work with these and have neighbours from Bangla, no problem, most are lovely people. I do hate the ones who are just scroungers or demand rights that we don't even get as British people, am I wrong to think that way, maybe to some, to others not.
My view is we behave and are expected to behave to the laws of the country we are in. As long as we know this before we go we should accept it. So should others when in our country. My neighbours are totally on the side of this, they are Muslim and respect all other religions, they are Black and accept white and they are in our country and accept our laws/ways, they can stay as long as they like.

I may be a tad old fashioned here, but having been in business for 30 odd years in the UK running both large and small companies, I am a firm believer in the words "respect" and "trust".

They say that when meeting someone for the first time, that the first 5 seconds are the most important. Within that very short timeframe you will both form an opinion of each other which will either go on to develop into a good business relationship or fail miserably.

Is the other guy dressed smartly ? Has he had a shave ? Does he return my phone calls ? Was he on time for this meeting ? Has he had the decency to switch his mobile phone off ? etc. etc. etc.

In all the dealings that I've had with Estate Agents, both Commercial and Domestic, I'm afraid that I've never, ever met ONE who, in my opinion satisfied that criteria.

    So .....

Do I have respect for them - no way. The Estate Agents Thread - Page 2 1498946960

Would I trust one - not on your fecking life. :Not me Guv:

Personally I havnt had any bad dealings with estate agents, I do know one slightly, he seemed ok to me. Anyway, I think the worse race of people has to be Somalis, never come accross a nice one and they all seem to be on the ponce, and the ones left back home are pirates? Tells you a lot about a country that can stand by and watch that sort of stuff going down. Hopefully a neighbouring country will invade them soon and then they will be bleating to the United Nations for help. I think they will need votes.......Enough said.

If the Agent is so busy that he is always with clients, Id expect him to either put his voicemail / divert on or employ a secretary !
