The Police have arrested two men who forged 25 supposedly solid gold coin pendants and sold them for over 16,000 euros to Tenerife pawn shops in Puerto de la Cruz, Los Realejos and Santa Cruz.

That's daft because if you sell any gold here you have to produce your passport which they take a photo of with the gold/jewelry you are selling and you have to sign to say it's yours
