Sharks then......... Not fishy ones, human ones. For about the last 10 years the Community office for our complex has been hounding me for money, fining me, sending lawyers letters and even taking my apartment and renting it out without my permission. Now it turns out there has been a 'mistake' in the accounting system and rather than me owing them 6,000 Euros it turns out they owe me 9,400! Jeez. As I am going to be selling my apartment I obviously want my money back. Not that easy they tell me. If we give you all that the tax man will come calling. Hmmm..... So I agree to take installments of 3000 spread over a few months. Quite surprised the next day when 3K turns up, in cash.

Re: Sharks in Tenerife.
Cash Summat fishy there Vince,
but all of a sudden tax man is all over everybody unless you join in with an accountant,
I have had to fill in a self declaration for property owned abroad and bank accounts to prove no letting is going on, they even check water and electric used and payments to cleaning company's,
needless to say i am squeaky clean and nothing to pay Donald and i move in the same circles.

Re: Sharks in Tenerife.
They are Italians who run the place. They think they are Mafia.
They also agreed to buy my apartment, but so far no 5K deposit has turned up in Patsy's account. Should send Kev round to beat them up.

Think they hold about 7%. Not much I can do about that. 18 years to make 22k profit is not very much either.
