Problems with videos

LR, is there a problem loading videos, I have to faff around for ages taking out bits of text to try and get it to load. I also have problems seeing other peoples (not all the time) and just get an error message. Is it me or is it happening to others?

I do but only at work, which is norm.

I just copy and paste link from the top of the page into the youtube link(it looks like a ladder) I don't use the quick reply,I use the new post one

I know how to do it M, it is just that sometimes it doesn´t work and sometimes I can´t see vids other people have posted. just a huge error message. First time it happened was a few days ago when I said to TD something about sending in the monkeys to correct the problem. That's what the message says something about error and sending monkeys. Can´t find it at the mo but next time I will copy.

OK guys, here's what to do when you post a youtube video. All you need is the basic "[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] The important bit is the 11 characters after the "=" sign. So if you open a video up and it has a huge string of stuff after it, shorten it to look like the example above. It should work OK as long as you use that format. Click on the little "video" icon (film strip), paste in your URL and hit OK. Have a wee look using the "preview" button to make sure it's there until you get used to it. You'll probably have noticed a lot of links have been changed to videos, well that's me beavering away in the background. (Fiddling, Reg calls it).
