Scottish law is different to English Law. Are you saying he should have been tried in England for alledged offences in Scotland? You'll remember Abdelbasst al Megrahi, even though he was tried in Holland it was by a Scottish court. Salmond was a stitch up from the start and I hope some heads roll for it.

Cam I don't care where trial was held, look at my post No5, as said I don't like the guy but would never have voted him guilty on evidence put forward,,, I think he done what he was accused of, but was it sexual assault or rape,,, it takes two to tango...

He was the most powerful man in Scotland. That power would extend to power over certain women. Some would have offered it on a plate. Thats where the difference is. I suspect he over trod that line.
