Tortured, they were. So what, if it means they can get the truth out of these brainwashed pathetic people that kill thousands. Does not matter if they are US, Chinese or Muslim citizens that are killed, they did it in cold blood for a reason they believe in. So it is OK to believe you can kill people at random in mass numbers. You can convince women and children to blow themselves up, but not OK for others to then use whatever means known to mankind to get the truth from inhumane liars.

What happens when completly innocent people are lifted and put through this ordeal?...as has happened a few British citizens.

And not all people incarcerated there believe in suicide killing but are fighters against the occupation of their countries...some are just suspected of supporting "terrorists".

C'mon Barry these are known Terrorists without doubt. They have been known for various atrocities. I agree in times gone by and in the future some twat will imprison or torture the wrong people, but when they are defoe and have killed loads, do what you must to get info from them. This will only save more lives.
How many innocent people are killed for their cause and under laws in the countries they are from.
I agree that many are fighting for rights in their own country and many more are also fighting against these pathetic murderers, who are getting society labels for many of their innocent countrymen.

The scum who organised 9/11 and 7/7...I couldn't care what happens to them...but I don't trust the yanks and anybody that goes against them is labelled a terrorist and threw in there to be tortured.
A "terrorist" by definition of the yanks is a very wide ranging spectre of people all around the world...including trade unionists,socialists,communists and freedom fighters who go against their domination of the world.
I couldn't care if a fundamentalist who is directing people to murder innocent civilians gets tortured,but having someone acting as a judge and labelling people a terrorist is a dangerous road to take.

So who was I talking about, Terrorists the ones that are in front of the judge at the Mo. Yeah the yanks have tried and failed for world dominance but it is now the turn of someone else but with an even worse agenda and history, do we sit back.

Got to say, I agree with CC's definition of what the Yanks call a "terrorist". I have no doubt that they tortured innocents. Again, I have no problem with those who perpetrated the acts of carnage getting water boarded or electric shock treatment or anything. The problem arises in how do you tell innocent from guilty? Do you lock up people en mass? Do you just allow for innocent people being tortured as a "casualty of war"? If you allow either of these two situations to exist, then you are only fuelling the fire of the extremists and 1000's more will flock to their ranks. The Yanks may justify all this by saying that it was this type of intelligence gathering over the last 10 years that has prevented anymore "9/11's" from happening. However, when it happens to one of their soldiers, there is uproar ( particularly by Fox News ) and these people are called "savages"? Tbh, I'm still in two minds about it. Don't like the idea that even one innocent person might be caught up in the process but can anyone say that the end justifies the means in so far as stopping future attacks?

Edit: I'll tell you one avenue that hasn't been explored, why don't the Yanks pull out of the Middle East and stop sticking their noses in? It's been their foreign policy that has aggrevated the extremists in the first place

The point I made though was these are defoe terrorists, no shadow of a doubt. Yes if a person is not of 100% sure as to whether the offender is guilty, then treat as innocent and deal with democratically.
Open terrorism and the offenders, which these are need to be treated like nasty cancers.
