Patsy working from home!

Came home 2pm and Patsy is in kitchen.   They have given her a laptop and she has to work from home now. Shame they didnt do it 20 years ago! Full pay, and 50 miles a day travel and car park charge saved.   Government job inland revenue by the way.

Give it a couple of weeks and he'll be wishing she was back in office..

Someone has fecked up the laptop system so they are not working.  Currently she is still at home while headless chickens run around trying to sort it.
She is being made redundant later this year and I did say I bet she gets a little job within a couple of weeks rather than being stuck with me.

Bet it's some sort of Intranet/Firewall thingy because she's not using Gov B/B.

I posted the  below on  another thread, the lads I mention in the post were all sitting with brand new laptop beside them, their work had issued them with them in preparation for possiblity of having to work from home...My mate says it may be an unnecessary process,,, they work in selling car purchase finance, my  mate said enquiry calls had dropped dramatically (people scared they won't be able to make payment), he also said eleven transactions he had in progress had been put on hold,,, so there may not be much work to do either in the office or at home ...

Diddly Dee pub shut,,, pub a hundred yards along the road was open, went their, one of my pool league mates and four of his work mates had went in for a beer on way home, huge pub, they were only ones in... I was in town today, very quiet people and car wise, saw only one pub shut,,,, but Weatherspoons hammered as normal.

Working from the pub then. What a good idea!

And pensioners should be shot to save government pension money.
Patsy dont seem to be doing much. She tells me there is a queue of 400 on the line.  
She also told me this morning that the reason she is working from home is they think I am vulnerable. Cheers bruvvers!
