I dont think so. Expect a big rush of pensioners for a start as soon as we are allowed to fly. I cant be the only one who has nothing to spend it on...........

I'd bide my time Bill. I think stringent travel restrictions will come in across Europe, esp UK, with death rates at record high. Don't think governments will be in a rush to ease lockdown too fast this time around

I think you might have to show proof of jab before being allowed to fly still I bet you will be able to buy on Ebay for about a fiver.

Got my covid negative certificate saved on my computer. Will be easy to change the dates and it has no Q code or barcode on it. You only got to get past the check in girl on the gate. Simples. As for the jab its supposed to happen before Feb 15th. Still waiting.........

The Covid jab,,, So you get the jab, Oh my daughter's had it, she works reception/admin in a doctor's surgery, I say to her do you get some sort of certificate to say you've had it, answer no,,, So you get the jab, ok you shouldn't get Covid,,, but can you go out, work, go pub, go holiday,,, no, your still locked up,,, Why ? Was in news couple of days ago think it was SAGA holidays saying for cruise holidays they were only taking bookings from people who've had jab,,, and that policy will spread,,, at moment you gotta have a Covid test before you can fly most places,,, So is it gonna be the case your gonna have to pay for proof you've been vaccinated ???

And folks wonder why we are still in lock down if people just ignore and deliberate go against the advice and rules causing nurses and care workers etc to put their lives and their families at risk.

You still can get covid and more importantly, you may possibly ( they dont know yet) still be able to transmit it. Mind you, if this is the case, I can't figure out how , if ever, we can get back to normalAdam Mint wrote:innit wrote:I think you might have to show proof of jab before being allowed to fly still I bet you will be able to buy on Ebay for about a fiver.

I moved last year's holidays to this year, end of June beginning of July for the first one and end of July for the second one. I'm not convinced either of them will go ahead so I'll be looking for my money back from both this time if they are cancelled. They're worth £6k. Fecked if I'm leaving it in their account for another year.

2 x Riviera holidays. One is a river cruise up the Rhine, then up the Moselle and back. The other is an escorted holiday in the Italian Lakes area. Video 1. Video 2.Mcqueen wrote:6k not Butlins then

Val would love that , but I spent too long in Germany and used to speak the language very well and to be honest still do but the memories I have are wonderful and would hate to have them shattered ,I know they wouldn't and I should go back and maybe this could be a chance to do just that we'll see

You'd both love it Bill. Everything is taken care of for you.Lie back and relax and go on the excursions and see beautiful places. If we tie up in the centre of town, we just do our own thing and go off on our own. Eveyone gets a wee map showing where the ship is moored, even has the mooring address on it. Somewhere new every day. I love river cruises!
