Todays weather in Tenerife

Grey, miserable and looks as if we could have a spot of rain. Closed the doors and windows as it is only 18C - and before you lot criticise that as being hot - to us natives it is bloody freezing.

I know that place, On the hill behind san telmo, The half finnished building thats been like that 20 years, Through my bins i can see a small holding, Pigs Chic Kens Etc, So thats where she must live, Mmm

They must have spent a fortune on that place, they actually have the kerb-line of a road laid out all the way up the hill to the building. Me and Mermaid went up to see it one time but a dog started barking and going mental at us. (Trish does that to dogs...)

Been up with Janet a few years ago, Janet dosent do heights, So we didnt hang about,I wonder if there waiting for squatters rights to kick in, All sorts going on behind the apartments up there, Farming, Livestock etc, All the water plumbed in too, Cant see any meter's though, Great views, Also some caves with well trodden paths,

Ignore what I said earlier, it was cold so I started baking to get the house nice and warm. The sun is now blazing, temps up here almost 26C and not a cloud in the sky

So who wants what. I have flapjacks, peanut butter cookies and a Victoria sponge, with strawberry jam and butter icing. (Well it will have once it cools down)

And that place on Mount Chayofita was due to be a hotel. This was taken up there a few years ago, that's Lola feeling knackered

Lovely photo Gypsy. Been up there a couple of times. Well worth the climb for the views! You want to get up beside the masts on Guaza, fantastic views from there, as you can see down both sides. (Tenbel, Palm Mar, Golf del Sur etc.)

No I don't LR, but OH wants to do it. I am hoping that one of these days he will meet up with Cru's OH who I believe has done it often so knows which paths to take.

I don´t want OH doing it on his own as I can see the headlines now ....Rescue services unable to find 70 year old Brit - but being the awkward bugger he is he would have decided to climb a different mountain without telling anyone !!

Do you lot want a slice of cake now - better be quick as you can see, the icing is melting in the heat

They all look different sizes on that photo but they are quite even honest

Nice granite (unlike the bathroom and cloakroom which are marble and bloody awful to clean) Bet you haven´t got the same colour kitchen as me though. Unless of course you are into Barbie. As you can see I have just taken this check the time LOL
