If you bought a new business what would it be Empty Re: If you bought a new business what would it be

I did, I bought a bottle of Remy. I nearly bought a lease on a shop. I have been waiting for a board to go up to say who a local newsagent was going to be available with. Since it closed no one has known despite ringing around. It had a board put outside this morning to say a chartered surveyor was dealing with it, someone gave me the number immediately. I called straight away and after them taking my details and asking what did I have in mind for business use, which I did not tell them the truth, they said an offer had been accepted and it was in the hands of solicitors, yeah right.
I wanted to turn it into a fish and chip shop as the large comprehensive school(4000) has been rebuilt on the old playing field and the new entrance will be 50 metres away, when it opens in September.

Did a lot of home work prior Reg, right in middle of built up area, nearest 1 mile away and it ain't good. This would have cost a few grand t set up but with the school and doing the 4 to 5pm for pensioners, plus the teatime bit. Free parking all round there but the previous owner used to always park right outside, never understand that, could be the difference between a customer stopping or driving past.

My accountant told me it was the best business to go into from a cashflow point of view. Not great hours ( at least over here) but a good earner. What were you going to do when you became a swallow though Kev?

I was not intending on working there just being the dogs body when around, My Son the head fish chef would run it, with him investing some money too and being a hard worker should pull well.

Large Cod, 20 bits for 18 quid, great quality, good profit in that, 25 kg spuds 6 quid, 45 to 50 portions at 1.30.
Seems a bit of profit even with overheads, can afford to have a couple of come and get me's at that.

Probably right but good spuds for frying chips are a bit more expensive Vince. You get some for about 4 quid here but you want the best to stay the best.

I would open a knicker shop..... well underwear in general, but suitable for ladies of all sizes not just the little Spanish girls who are a 32A cup and anything else is not stocked. I am sure it would go down well.

Ideally I would love a leisure bar in Tenerife. A bar where if it it just ticked over great, I could open hours to suit my friends and just totally chill. Anyone who came in would be welcome providing they bought a smile to the place.

Unfortunately a lot of those 32A Spanish girls become rather large women. If you bought a new business what would it be 3077217049 So yes, a fine idea G.
