Oneleg............

Just like to say that many of us had an email to day from a great person of Forums, Oneleg. I think he is a very well liked chap by many of us on here.
Oneleg is not a member here but maybe in the future. He is OK and having a break from forums. He wishes us all well and will guest every now and then.
I think he is a very big part of us for the future and a very happy and knowledgeable man, that for me will be welcomed with open arms (not legs) if and when he returns.
If you do take a look at this Kev, all the best mate, to me a fab geezer.

I've been having a good laugh while going through this forum but then I came to this post.

I was copied on that email from him today and it actually made me cry. He does funny, he does rude but he never ever gets personal and offensive and to read his disappointment in people makes me very sad. He has given up all forums because people he thought were friends and trusted have turned out to be slime bags out to use people for whatever they can get and then drop them when they think they can do better elsewhere. Some of these people play the innocent but no doubt they will be found out one day and I hope it makes them feel really bad about themselves.

I am glad to say though that Oneleg and I are good friends, have been for years and always keep in touch so I will keep on at him to join this forum as like many I look forward to his posts.

The benefit of giving up forums though is that it is amazing the things you can do. I was at the vets this morning (my doggie has the all clear from her heart-worm treatment), had drinkies with a girlfriend this afternoon and have been asked for a quote for doing some website proof-reading. There is more to life than forums but I promise you I will be keeping an eye on you lot and hopefully dropping in regularly.

I would just like to add to yours that Oneleg did in confidence let us know some of the people that have upset him, in his very moving email and no one of the members that are friends on here were amongst them.

That is great news Queenie about your dog. I also was moved by onelegs mail.A great person.

Just to keep you all from missing him. I have just finished reading his last email. To set the scene had gone to the sales with his OH had done his share of people watching while OH was in M&S, River Island and Wallis so now laden with bags it was time to leave.

....As we where going up in one of the lifts a little lad in a buggy came along side me in my wheelchair ,looked me up and down then said
"Does your mummy let you out of your buggy when your shopping ?"
i nearly choked ,not just at his observation but that he thought ** was my mum !!!Talk about "We are not amused"expression on ** face ..........
