Plan your hols in 2 minutes

Tenerife Tourism has just launching the free tool called "personalized travel plan" . It is located HERE and allows visitors to quickly organise their holiday.

It is simple to use, from selecting the number of days finding accommodation and choosing a reason for your visit be it to discover the island or just peace and quiet. The system also allows a direct search for restaurants by type and price. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete and then the tool generates a user-customized plan that includes a full program of activities and visits to carry out, with indication of the distances between them, and all according to the preferences expressed by the traveller . The travel plan can be printed, emailed or saved for future reference.

I tried it but I can't get past the accommodation stage. I told it I didn't need a place to stay, but they wanted to know where I was staying so I put in Costamar. It doesn't like that! It kicks it out and asks again!

I tried it too but it worked for me. I just said I wanted to stay in the south, and chose a 3 star so when the plan came up and it showed me the Aquamar I just ignored that bit and clicked on the next bit which was restaurants. I clicked and it showed a booklet full of places to eat. I chose cultural interests (thought I would be posh) and got info on Garachico, La Laguna, museums etc. Not the same as someone who has been telling you what is there, but quite good if you have no idea what the island has to offer.
