My cats nearly dead

I'm pragmatic when it comes to death but as TD says , quality of life is everything. If I ever get alzheimers or something that causes me to lose too much independence then put me out of my misery.

The only thing I never want happen is to bury one of my kids. Anything else is just a bonus

Altzeihmers is horrible, just remember that.

I don´t mind how long I live providing I have two things
OH - for all his faults (and he does have some despite him always saying how perfect he is ) I wouldn´t swap him for
and all my marbles. Can´t think of anything worse than having to be looked after by someone you can´t remember.
Anyone see the film The Notebook I sobbed most of the way through it.

My dad was diagnosed with it last year. If he has got it( we're still not fully convinced) its very slow progression so far. His short term memory is getting worse but still remembers what is important to him. Strange that.
