Another talent gone. You would think they would spend their money on something else. They can do anything they like yet they end up with substance abuse. Sad.

I have never been an addict (except fags!!!)so i dont know to what depths you can sink and what a grip it can have on you, my friend however is a paramedic and deals with hardcore junkies all the time. She says when they reach the stage of having no humanity left, they cant see a way out so dont bother trying.

I know a woman who kidnapped her daughter off the street selling herself, She locked her up somewhere for months, Paid somebody just to feed her 24 hr's, Cost her thousands, And it was probably illegal, Husband got her on it, So he was looking for her, Woman was arrested, A right mess it was, But she cleaned her up, Got her to Divorce the waste of space, Looked after the grandaughter, She called it a 2 year nightmare, But the lass is ok, and when she looks back She cant believe what she was like, Heroin, Bit tough to get off that stuff, When i pick up their cars they are great together,
Arms round each other, Sorted, I have a great respect for the woman, She took on dealers,The police, Threats, You name it, But she cleaned the family up, She is a wealthy lady, But i think she would have done it anyway,

Nice ending Reg, obviously seen quite a bit of our fair share as carers but can't talk about individuals.
Had a really good mate years ago, did a bit of the dope, then a couple of e's then a bit of whizz, then said he knows his limits. Lost the lot started dealing, always getting nicked, beaten up by the bigger boys and rejected by his mates because they were scared to get involved. He had a fortunate turn that would have been a bad turn for any of us, a stroke. In hospital had to retrain on a lot of things then carers, married the nurse and moved to America, now a drug counsellor in New Jersey.

Great story, I like happy endings, Not too many about though,

No you are right, lost me good mate but not to dugs. Fully recovered from the lot including the stroke apart from a limp.
