They would never get away with it on a "locals" beach like Los Cris. Too many Spanish smoke. Best to start at a touristy beach...won't have to worry about votes in any elections that way.

The police are going to be really busy, catching the smokers, catching the Pr's. No wonder they have no time for the drug dealing which is rife and the pick pocketing which is rifer?? (is that even a real word). A lot of bloody nonsense when there's people in wheelchairs ON OXYGEN getting robbed and the police couldnt care less.

depends were you are drug dealing is openly done in the streets of Las Americas..I was often asked on my way to work, 'do you want some Charlie'..'didnt know any Charlies???? Pick pocketing is defo riferest in San Eug..beware the chinese shops, supertmarket queues and the cheap clothes shop over the road from 'Scotch corner'. Its always the elderly they go for.
