Not good day for Scottish football, Rangers and Celtic need each other as Scottish football is not enough for them yet they are too big for Scottish football.

    and Wrexham.

When Wimbledon moved from London a few years ago, there was a huge push to get them to relocate in Dublin. The owners and manager at the time were all for it. Shame, they would have got 60000/70000 people a week no problem

Joking apart, if I am reading reports correctly Whyte paid £1 for 85% of the shares, he took on £18m debt, but due to way finances were set up he may be entitled to reclaim some of said £18m as a creditor, other reports indicate he may end up with the club/assets etc, not bad for a quid ???

Yeah, he is a "Secured" creditor, meaning he gets first dibs on any assets to cover the £18m debt he paid to the bank. Effectively Rangers now owe him £18m and as a secured creditor he is at the head of the queue, in front even of HMRC. What he could do is take the club assets and transfer them to a new comany, including the brand name, and let the indebted part go to the wall. That being the old RFC. Bit like Airdrionians when they became Airdrie United after they went into administration. I think this Craig Whyte is one clever hombre. If he has his way, he is going to come out of this owing nothing to anyone but still owning Rangers Football Club.

Yeah. He was asked in court if it was true he had been banned from holding a directorship for 7 years, he said yes, but couldn't remember why! If Rangers go down the Pan. 3025408739 He was in court 'cos he recently lost a case involving an unpaid bill to a roofing company of £87,000. Judge didn't believe Whyte and told him to pay the company, that was only a couple of weeks ago.

Flood control was on 10 secs Vince. I've shortened it to 2 secs, which means you only have to wait 2 seconds between postings.

Job advertisement from today’s Glasgow Herald.

    Professional Footballer Required

Position would suit someone looking for a more relaxed approach to the game (A somewhat semi retired approach).

The clubs intentions in line with our “green policy” is only to play home games in the forthcoming season thus cutting down on our carbon footprint and unnecessary travel expenses.

The board feel despite the above policy, SPL dominance will still prevail, which will unfortunately result in a few European trips being necessary.

The Club operate an open employment policy on the grounds of; age, sex, disability, race and religion, (In principal).

    Applications to:-

    Personnel Manager

    The Celtic Football Club

    Celtic Park

    Parkhead
