I agree but little we can do if people do not post, same everywhere.

Me, Gypsy and Mermaid could easily keep threads on topic, but last time we tried it we got jumped on from a great height for moving posts.

By the same ones now complaining........
Some are on topic and it is very easy to put most back on topic, like this.
Fact is we are a forum of fun and to make it so things will go off, it is up to whoever requires answers or subject further discussed to put it back, that was decided as best way.
If anyone does want to start a topic and put on it "if this topic goes off, please can it be moderated" then no objections here.

But .....

We welcome our new members and suggest that they might like to ask some questions about Tenerife (a subject matter that between us all, we know an awful lot about).

However .....

If said new member looks at other threads on here where a sensible question has been asked, they will very soon see that the thread is taken off-topic within half a dozen posts. Why therefore should they bother ? Will they goes elsewhere to ask their question ? Who knows ?

One thing is for sure - a lot of people join TFoF, but for some reason, PREFER NOT TO JOIN IN. Why's that ? :what:

At the same time Jimbo the people that join more than likely lurked for a while! I would suspect they can see from that how threads go off topic. I wonder how many of them that do join are in fact spys from elsewhere?
