I spent a few minutes with binoculars on 12 mile beach Reg. I reckon there was less than 300 people on the entire beach!

Looks better than Gibraltar Point at Skegness. Now apart from a lot of rain are there any other drawbacks? eg biting insects?

no insects. You couldn't hear any noise at all on Sat evening. Not even the water was lapping. It was idyllic. Then my kids came screaming round the corner

Might go take a look one day but Patsy wants to go as its the Land of her Parents and probably a million relatives who I wouldnt be able to understand even if my hearing was 100%. Her dad was called Pat too, and the eldest son her brother was called Pat so to avoid confusion they would call him Joey. 8 kids later they had obviously run out of names so called the last one Pat but again to avoid confusion they called her Patsy. When I met her she told me her name was Pat but eventually when I first went round her house, Dad was on the kitchen floor drunk and comatose but thats another story, they all called her Patsy. Haha I thought, how very fitting, Patsy it is then........

Hmmm, yeah, I live in a very old building, its not just rising damp, it comes from all directions. Patsy fights against it though, sometimes she is just moist.......

Well spotted Cam. I had intended to stop at the mine but we had taken a wrong road and it took us 2.5 hours just to get that point from Kenmare ( only 40 miles)
