Another reason to call your MP! The company that runs the bridges over the Severn (Severn River Crossings PLC), have been given longer to continue to collect tolls to an additional £33 million. ALL Scottish bridges are now toll free. It used to really bug me living in Fife, if I wanted to either go North to Dundee or South to Edinburgh, I effectively had to pay to leave the county due to the River Forth on the South and the River Tay to the North, or else face a 40 mile detour via the Kincardine bridge! (Never has been a toll bridge). Time for a revolution down there, you're being stealth taxed all over the place...prescriptions, university tuition fees, bridge tolls...oh! and bloody fishing rod licences! What's that all about? You pay a permit up here to fish certain waters but not a rod licence! Anyway. I digress....Severn bridge
