The man who made a country go bust

Just thought you might like to see the face of the only man in history to bankrupt a country. He has admitted to corrupt dealings and transferring over 7 billion between Banks ( banks not accounts) for one day to show that the end of year accounts in his own bank were in good stead. The following day, he transferred the money back again. He has presided over the worst banking malpractice ever and yet still hasn't served a day in jail. All in all, his bank has cost the Irish taxpayer 37 billion and is now an empty shell. To put it into perspective, it has the same effect on our economy as a 550 billion bail out to RBS in the UK. Nice to see him looking so well

Aha, In 1990 I bought property repossessed by AIB. It was my understanding that I paid 68k less than what was owed on it. Of course he may have had nothing to do with the bank at the time.
