Have you done a defrag and also cleared your cookies. If you haven´t got it already you could download CCleaner I run it everyday just before I switch off it takes less than a minute and things are tickety boo

Yeah he did all that, I got him to update Norton and run a scan, as he could not find the offending program. If still a problem today I will go remote into his pc from mine and see if I can sort.

Computers i hate them, Cars i can plug in and get an idea what the problem is, I can spend days and it dosent bother me, But pc's melt my head, Good job Janet keeps me calm, ,

My internet is VERY slow tonight. Don't know if it is because someone has done something to our phone wires. There are little boxes attached. This is the first of me been able to connect since 4.30 this afternoon.

Still having problems, when I initially posted on “Computer Doing Me Head In” thread 13/06/12 I felt the problem I was having related only to TTFoF, but have since noticed same problems on other sites although not as bad as on TTFoF, the problem being when I click to navigate from thread to thread or post a reply etc, the response time can either be instant or take over a minute, there is no consistency with problem, one time it’s ok, then the next a long wait. As previously said I ran CCleaner but it made no difference, any advice appreciated.
