Hi guys and gals. We're having a ball! Cold but bright and dry. B&B is called Gairloch View and sits in an elevated position above the village with stunning views over Loch Gairloch to the Isle of Skye and the Outer Hebrides.
Gairloch in the Gaelic is Gearrloch and means "short loch". (Bit like me really...)
Here's some piccies of the B&B...

Not this time Dermo, been a couple of times before. Tomorrow we're going to retrace Jimandsi's bike route over the Bealach na Bo (Pass of the Cattle) to Applecross. If we get nice weather, I should get some good photos. Gairloch, Wester Ross. 1533698712

Hmmm, there are weeds growing in the garden, and a bleeding Christmas Tree. Go and stick a fairy on the top, or a gnome. Are you sleeping on the nearside of the bed or by the window? Just nosey like.

I'm always on the left side, so window side for me Vince. I'd cut that silly tree down if it was me, spoils a lovely view.

If you trimmed about 3 inches off tree and then positioned something in the lake directly at the point you could get a great picture.

We installed a couple of those wind turbines. One guy insisted on putting it on his gable wall despite all our advice. Drove by 4 years later, he was rebuilding the wall. No sign of the turbine. Gairloch, Wester Ross. 1498946960
