Funny that CC because wifey said the same and I said to her, just have a taste, she loves them.
People eat too much with their eyes and not with their mouths.
Your eyes can completely change the signals your taste buds send to the brain.
CC what alcohol do you drink?

put a bit in a glass as you would normally have it, unless with coke as it won't work. Add 2 drops of food colouring of your most hated colour. The food colour does not add any flavour but you will taste it so differently.CaribeCelt wrote:Vodka

I love Haggis.
If you are having Kangaroo, remember it is an Aphrodisiac.
If you eat enough you want a jump.

I've had haggis a couple of times in Edinburgh. Tastes like mild white pudding. Could take it or leave it, but then again, the stuff i got was probably for tourists, not the real thing maybe??

White puddings more smooth. A nice haggis should have texture and moisture to it, so you can feel the oats and the meats and stuff...mmmm I'm getting peckish now.

I have made this a new topic as it is quite interesting to find out what people like/dislike and it was getting lost in the Spanish word of the day thread

Love it.
also Black Pudding & White Pudding.
Love Faggots as well known up here as the local delicacy Savoury Duck, luurvly.
The kind most supermarkets sell 'Mr Brain's Pork Faggots' did a limited edition the other year in Chip Shop Curry Sauce, they were beatiful.

I love black-pudding at least the sort you get here with fruit and nuts in it. I've neer tasted white pudding, quite like haggis but faggots the name puts me off BRAINS faggots

I like virtually any food though I absolutely despise brussel sprouts, spinach and swordfish. Wouldn't eat anything with the name faggot, brain or tongue in it.

Hate despise loathe etc etc...
COFFEE
Even the smell makes me reach can't stand the stuff.
Work with people whom by late afternoon have had that many they actually smell of the stuff
We once went to view a house that we are interested in buying and the women selling had obviously listened to all the housey programmes about aromas tempting buyers but instead of the choosing the lovely aroma freshly baked bread she lost me the second she opened the door the stench was terrible.
Better half even said after viewing she knew the moment the door opened I wasn't interested in the house, doubt we'd have been able to cleanse the house it was that bad.

Re: What foods do you / don´t you like
I would eat anything, but the only thing I'm not keen on is kidney beans...I had them in Chilli con carne and Ropa vieja and can eat them, but just not keen on them.
Has anyone tried Vieja - Parrot fish,in Tenerife?...I read a review about it on some site and reviews said it was mouth watering, and that after eating it,no fish will taste the same....tried it in LC in February and I thought it was bland, unless the restaurant I went to made a balls of it.
Whats your favourite fish restaurant and dish in Tenerife?
