Try Surfers Bar just down from Scampi's there Fish (whale) & Chips is superb, the homemade beer batter on the fish is a meal in itself biggest serving of fish & chips I've had on the rock.
Was our final meal before flying home for Xmas and was so full never ate again till breakfast the following morning.

Re: What foods do you / don´t you like
We discovered the Chicken Shack in Puerto Santiago the last time we were out. Only thing is the kids wanted to go back night after night. My thinking is, you've got to try something different when on hols. I had deep fried baby shrimp as a starter last time. Some woman at the next table said they were delicious. You know when you fry your own chips at home and there is always one or two left floating in the oil and you pick them out next time you use the fryer?? well, that's what these tasted like, deep fried month old chips.
And I didn't like the way they were looking at me either

Has anyone tried Vieja - Parrot fish,in Tenerife?...I read a review about it on some site and reviews said it was mouth watering, and that after eating it,no fish will taste the same....tried it in LC in February and I thought it was bland, unless the restaurant I went to made a balls of it.
Whats your favourite fish restaurant and dish in Tenerife?
Not a lover of fish, if and when I have it it has to be thin can´t stand thick flakes they are just too fishy

Fish fritter (two slices of potato with a bit of fish in the middle then battered) & chips out of the paper as said, but I can´t remember the last time I had that. It would have been up north.

I heard the owner Steve Gereld, from Scotland is away in Thailand for several weeks, so wonder if it is closed??
There is also a new Indian called Bobby's that friends went to last Monday, they said it was the best around by miles.
